The snow garden course is an introduction to skiing for the younger members of the family, aged between 3 and 5 years.
The garden is a space on the pistes adapted for them and equipped with games with which they will learn to slide on "real" skis.
Here children will discover a new activity with professionals who will watch out for their safety and wellbeing, alternating skiing with rest periods and other games activities.
At the end of the course, the youngest children (3 years old) will have become familiar with the ski material, they will know how to move on a flat surface on two skis and they will be able to slide over small slopes in a balanced manner.
Children aged 4 and 5 will have done a bit more skiing; they will have discovered the pleasures of sliding, they will be in control and will have more autonomy.
It is important to take into account that each child will progress at a different speed, there is no rush, they will advance at their own pace.
They must bring:
Please note: small children are more sensitive to cool weather: they need to be dressed accordingly and wear gloves and a hat.
Very important: good quality sunglasses or ski goggles.
The classes are from 10 am to 1 pm in the first shift and from 2 pm to 5 pm in the second shift (this last shift is subject to a minimum number of children to make up the group).
During times when there are lots of skiers, the timetable of the second shift may vary.
GARDEN + NURSERY SCHOOL
Our school also offers the possibility of choosing the snow garden course along with 3 hours of nursery school per day.
For lunch, parents can collect their children after the lesson and return them after lunch, or leave food for them and we will give them lunch.
